In a pickle

Sorry I've been a bad blogger lately but I have been in a pickle. A pickle jar that is. We have had an amazing amount of cucumbers out of our tiny raised garden this year. We always wanted to try making pickles but never had enough cucumbers at one time to try. This year we did. We have made 14 pints of bread and butter pickles this year so far and there are still more cucumbers that will be ready in just a couple of days. We also have the cutest watermelon growing in the garden. The kids are itching to pick it and see how it is tastes. Ty has to show everyone who enters the yard all of the stuff growing in the garden. Then he tries to give it all away... "here have a cucumber, look at my watermelon, come see my pumpkins...."
So anyway the pickles are delicious and so super easy to make. We want to try to make some garlic dill pickles but haven't yet, maybe the next batch.
I have a little card project almost finished, just need to photograph it tomorrow and get it up here. Till then, have a great evening.
