Oh the joy!!

The joy of a DIY home improvement project. We are in the middle of building a patio and it is sucking all of the energy and mojo right out of me. It will be worth it when it is done though.... I hope!

I did get a bit of a wind last night and got two cards made. Both use the new Papertrey Ink set called Floral Frenzy. Melissa has designed another beautiful flower set. You should really check out her samples with this set. Beautiful! So this is one of the cards. The other is for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop on Friday.

This one uses all PTI product except for Dew Drops at the bottom. The polka dot paper is from the Chocolate Remix pattern paper pack. Soooooo cute! I stamped the flower stem and leaves right onto the polka dot paper. The flower was stamped with Summer Sunrise onto Lemon Tart Paper, cut out with this Cuttlebug die and mounted with a 3-D dot. The center and sentiment - just because - are stamped with Dark Chocolate (formerly Burnt Umber). The other layers are Dark Chocolate and Lemon Tart paper. The card base is done with Vintage Cream to match the background of the pattern paper. A little bit of Summer Sunrise ribbon and.... Done. Thanx for checking in. -Later.
