This means war!!!

I love every type of animal on earth with the exception of snakes and other slimy reptiles. This however is just too much for me. I have had so many battles with these darn red squirrels. At one point I was shall we say making them disappear. My Father-in-law and I had a running tally going. He had far superior fire power so his count was much higher than mine.
Well I think we may have to start up the contest again because this little guy has pushed me too far. This feeder is attached to the window just above our kitchen sink. He doesn't have a clue what he has just started. If he could have just stayed on the hanging feeders I could have overlooked it but this is just too much.

OK now that I have vented about that I can move onto much more friendly topics.

This the Thank You card for gifts Tyler got at this party. The monkey is from CC. Designs Monkey Love. He is so cute. I've had the best time coloring him. I stamped him onto PTI Select card stock with StazOn and colored him with Prismas. Thanks to a very informative thread on the PTI forum about these pencils I learned that baby oil will work to blend them as well as the OMS. Now I can carry everything I need on the plane to Atlanta this weekend, so I can color more cards.

I used two square nesties at the same time in my cuttlebug to emboss the squares around the monkey. I also used a copic marker to shadow around the him. I printed the sentiment and shadowed it with a copic as well. I actually really like the way it came out.
Not sure about that ribbon yet! The card needs something but I'm not sure that is it. I'll get them colored this weekend and revisit the ribbon issue when I get back.

One more thing. Just a quick word about Tim. I just talked to him a few minutes ago and he is doing well. He was sitting in his wheelchair when he called. He is getting little bits of movement back. When he is in his chair he can move one of his knees side to side a little bit. Little bits are good. We will take every little bit we can get. I can't wait to see him this weekend.

Thanks for checking in.

Your card is so cute! I'm glad the baby oil worked for you, that's all I use when blending my pencils, I've never even tried the gamsol I'm so happy with the oil.

The monkey is colored beautifully, and I love Nestabilities used for embossing--it creates such a finished look. Great job!
