I has only taken 2 days, but.....

....I managed to make a card!!! For someone who doesn't work and never does housework I have been so busy this week. And the next couple of weeks are just going to be nutty. I have a bunch of stuff going on so I may not get to post as much as I would like.

Anyway onto my card....

This was for SCS Sketch Challenge 172 from this week. I really like the sketch and as I said in the last post I am loving this plaid paper. I think it goes so perfectly with the colors from PTI. I can't wait to see if it goes with the yellow and orange that they came out with this month. I think (I hope) it will be here tomorrow!! Yippie!!!

The main image is from MFT, Can ya Dig It?. I used the Friendship sentiment from By the Seashore, also from MFT. I think I must have been ill last night because I thought it would be cool to change each of the dots on the pink patterned paper to blue! 10 minutes later and nearly blind.... not such a cool idea. It did give it a different look though, even though you can not see it in the photo.

The flower in the main image is actually the flower in the pink patterned paper pack (say that 5 times fast) from PTI. I cut out 2 of the flowers and mounted the top one with a doubled over glue dot for just a hint of dimension.

Her dress was pieced and the rest of the main image was colored with Prismacolor pencils. I did her hat a bit different this time around. The flowers were giving me fits so I made her a pretty pink PTI ribbon for her hat. That is about it. Have a great weekend just in case I don't get to post again.
Info:
Stamps: MFT
Paper: PTI, Bazzill, We R Memory Keepers
Ink: StazOn, PTI Spring Moss
Other stuff: Prismacolor pencils, PTI ribbon, brads, Prima flowers

Great card....I like how the pink print moves from her dress onto the side of the card. Very springy. Joan
