Busy Bee

For a girl who has nothing to do, I had a busy week last week . I think this week will be a little less hectic. I'm hoping to get a bit more stamping done.

I did get a card made this weekend with Papertrey Ink's Honey Bees though.

I stamped the largest bee on Stampers Select. I really wanted some flock to make his yellow body fuzzy but I had no yellow. So I added a little Spica glitter instead (it doesn't show up at all in the photo but it is there, really).

I cut the bee out with a nestie and layered it onto Lavender Moon, mounted that with 3-D dots onto Lemon Tart and then onto some black card stock. The flowers are from Honey Bees as well and stamped with Versa Mark randomly on the Lavender moon card base.

A simple card, really didn't need all of that explanation but there it is anyway. I did stamp "you're as sweet as honey" on the inside.

I know the bee image looks like it is very off center on the yellow but IRL it is not that bad. Weird how photos do that isn't it.
