A little mojo bird

This card is for the Mojo Monday sketch this week. You can check it out on the all new Mojo Monday Blog. I love Julee's sketches and I love this little bird from SU. I colored him with my new SU markers (Thank you, Dad!) and stamped him onto Vintage Cream from PTI. He is supposed to be a Blue Bird. Well he is close-ish!

I tried to keep it on the manly side. That is a challenge all by itself. The little bow might not be so manly but at least it is with twine and not ribbon, that is manly... right?

I used the twine again along the bottom with the ribbon tag. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink - Mailbox Greetings. Thankfully I have no specific reason for needing a sympathy card right now, I just like the way the sentiment looked on the tag. And they are good to have on hand. Not always the easiest cards to make, but surely some of the most appreciated.

Thanks for checking in today.

great card Molly - unfortunately I've had a few of these to make in just the last week - UGH...they're all fairly similar, but kept the recipient in mind when I made them. Great sketch too - will have to check out the blog, and bookmark it :) Thanks for sharing!!
