Where has my mojo gone? If you see it could you kindly tell it to come on home. I miss it!
In my search for it today I found this sketch. I loved it from the minute I saw it. I picked out my images from the Believe set from PTI. I based my colors on the background paper from the Basic Grey Wassail line. I even had the brads and buttons that coordinated with the line.
I stamped the Santa, colored him with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. Added some chunky glitter to the trim on his coat and hat, some fun flock on his beard and mustache, and the gift was paper pieced and added with a 3-D dot.
It all was coming together nicely until I got to the buttons. I just could not make them feel like part of the card. I kept telling myself I must be button challenged and finally just had to leave well enough alone. Any suggestions would be welcome. I really wanted to add some ribbon but the darn buttons had me so buggered that I couldn't function. Anyway, there it is for better or worse.
I'm off on the continuing search for my mojo. Have a great evening.

I think your card is WONDERFUL -- just love that Santa and the buttons are fabulous! :)
....great card Molly - Christmas is such fun isn't it!
I think it's a great card too! The only thing I'd change would be to put the big button on the bottom of the three.

This is beautiful! LOVE the buttons!
lovely dear...really :) We are all our own worst critics... I love your card - oh and if you can do primacolors and OMS, you can totally do copics!
This is so cute. The buttons look great, and I love the chunky glitter on Santa. Thanks for playing my challenge! :)
