A couple of things tonight.

First I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. We spent Friday at a carnival.... eating, then Saturday on the lake... eating and then today again on a different lake but still... you got it eating. It was great weather and Tyler had a blast swimming, going on rides at the carnival and watching the fireworks.

The second thing is far less happy news from the weekend. My cousin's boyfriend, who I have talked about briefly in the past few posts, passed away on Thursday. The injuries to his brain were just too much for him to recover from. Services will be held over the next couple of days and then the long process of healing can really begin for my cousin and his family. Thank you again to everyone for the prayers and well wishes.

So before I got the above news on Thursday I had planned on posting this little card.

I apologize in advance for the photo. I was taken with a flash and I had every intention of retaking the photo but I forgot and already delivered the card. You will get the idea though.

All paper, ribbon, ink and stamps are PTI. The punched flowers are from a punch called Petite Petals by McGill. The thing is huge but I love the little flowers and centers . The centers have some stickles for a little shimmer. The tiny flowers at the bottom are actually leftovers from my last card. I thought they were just too cute to throw away.

The stems were done with the little curly stem images from Women of Life. I think that is my favorite part of the entire card, well that and it only took about 5 minutes to make. :)
