Berry Much

I had wanted to go pick strawberries at a local farm this year but found out today that the season is nearly over. Well, darn! So I picked my own strawberries from my stamp nook. Papertrey Ink's Green Thumb has the best strawberries and they are never out of season.

I love making cards that fold this way but never think to do it. Today I did. The base is made of Papertrey Ink Stampers Select and the green is from Bazzill. The green layer is popped up on 3-D dots and the circle is cut from it with nesties. I also used a circle scalloped nestie to cut the frame for the hole.

I attempted to make strawberry blossoms using the McGill flower punch for the big flower and the Target $1 flower for the center. A little bit of yellow stickles added to make them pop. A little paper piercing in the corner and some Lemon Tart ribbon and voila! Strawberries for me.

Not sure what happened to the photo, it looks all grainy on blogger. OOPS! Sorry!
