Beautiful Blooms Background

On Nichole's blog a while back she challenged everyone to layer images over a background pattern. Here is my take on that challenge. I stamped the small dots from Polka Dot Basics and then used the solid and outline flower from Beautiful Blooms over it. I stamped the outline flowers in Lemon Tart ink and the solid flowers in Summer Sunrise. The centers of the flowers are colored in with my new favorite white pen, Inkssentials opaque white.

I used a nestie to cut and emboss the circle on the main layer. This layer is raised off of the card base with 3D tape.

The large flower is from Beautiful Blooms as well. The solid image was stamped with Lemon Tart and the outline was stamped on top of that with Summer Sunrise. The flowers were layered with 3d dots and adhered to the base layer. Happy Mother's Day from Pond Life was stamped right on the flower.

The photo makes the colors look very blah, but they are so vibrant IRL.

I'm off.... Ty should be getting up, Jordan will be home off the bus, Jason is due home any minute and I need to make soup for dinner. MMMMM minestrone, my favorite! And hopefully we can get out for a few minutes before the rain starts. Later!

This is a beautiful mother's day card. Very creative how you did the flower in the middle. Thanks for directing us to it from the PTI thread :-)
