This card was made for Beate's Weekend Sketch.
I was still liking the little 4 1/4" card that I made yesterday so I decided to have another go at it today. I never use PTI's Little Lady set, but I love it. The saying is probably my favorite part. I tend to forget about the "little things" far to often and have to remind myself every now and again. Tried to keep this little card simple. Instead of adding a horizontal layer I used PTI Polka Dots to create a faux layer. The Little Lady herself is stamped on PTI select, then mounted onto two different nesties. I stamped the wing section again onto acetate with StazOn and cut the wings out. I bent them in the middle and glued the very center down to the original lady bug. Sort of the same thing with the antenna! I just cut them out of the acetate, bent them up and glued them on. The bug trail was an afterthought, but I like it.
My new goal is never to give up on a card. I have a tendency to get stuck and chuck the leftovers into the trash. I need to try and finish the cards... even if I think they are kind of... well.... ugly.

Love this card, it is so cute! I am acetate impaired so I never use it but it adds so much to the card! Great job!
You've given me more inspiration to try using the acetate I bought last weekend.
Also, I think your goal is a good one--many times a card isn't working how I want it to, but I save it and it may work for something else later.

I chuck many a cards some days. No shame in that!!! We all need to do it time to time-just make sure you pull off any embellishments! Your card is adorable!Love the 3D wings
