Pretty Penguins

This card is for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I had not used my CC Designs penguins yet (except to practice coloring) and thought they were the perfect size for this challenge. As you can see they are all dressed up for Valentine's Day. I colored the penguins with Copics and Tombows then cut and embossed them with a square Nestability.

I stamped the Luv ya' sentiment using a Tombow marker. Stickles were added to the bows, flowers and sentiment. They don't show up so well in this photo.

My red paper seemed very boring so I used a Tombow marker to paint just the heart on a sentiment stamp (I think it was from a Fiskars set) and used it to create a kind-of a patterned paper (again it doesn't show up in this photo). The 3 white hearts were stamped with white and then embossed with a sparkle powder. Thought it still needed something so I put some Making Memories Page Pebbles over the top of them. I like the way it added something but didn't take away from the penguins. I hope you like it.

Thanks for a great sketch Beate, it was a lot fun.
