Look at what I found!

Check out what I found at the $1 spot at Target! These little tin cases are fantastic. There were a few different types of candy tins and then some Disney tins too. I bought a couple to alter for Easter treats. I did a quick one to get ready to send to my brother for Easter. The Hershey's Nuggets stack perfectly in these little tins.

So I used some Papertrey Ink spring moss paper and ribbon, and For Peeps Sake pattern paper to dress up my tin. I took of the handle until I can figure out how to make it a different color. (I've almost got it.) The only thing I don't like is that I can't figure out how to cover the brown part of the tin ( just above the ribbon in the photo below). I thought about paint but I think it will just scratch off and look even worse. Any ideas? It isn't too bad on this tin but some of the others are really yucky colors. Should have bought all brown ones I guess. There is always this weekend.

Sorry for the bad photos. I was trying to hurry so my son wouldn't see these and want to play. He will get ahold of them soon enough. He is going to love playing with these. I think they would make great holders for little flip albums too or gift card holders........ I just love it when I find cool stuff like this and for only a Dollar. Even better.
